Jon Bos Owner, CFP™ CPA Jon is a native of Yankton, South Dakota. He attended Abilene Christian University on a full scholarship, and graduated with an accounting degree in 1991. At ACU he met and married his wife, Rebecca, in 1989. Both were active in the Abilene community's Big Brother, Big Sister program. Rebecca teaches Math and Chemistry at the Abilene Christian Schools. Jon and his wife have two sons, Taylor and Matthew, who both attend Abilene Christian Schools. Jon has worked in the Abilene area in the the financial industry since 1990. He earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 1993, and in 2001, he earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Jon served on the Big Country Chapter of the American Red Cross as Chairman of the Board for two years, and Treasurer for two years. He received the prestigious Southwest Gold Star Award, one of only ten awarded nationally each year for exeptional volunteer service. Jon has also served as a board member for the Key City Kiwanas Club. In his spare time, Jon enjoys hunting, working with computers, hiking, traveling, and reading. Jon has lived in the Abilene area since 1987.
